Story
Laptics Surgical was founded in 2015 by MD, Jens Jorgen Kjer, one of Denmarks most experienced and leading surgeons within OB / GYN, after an innovation initiative at Glostrup Hospital (Rigshospitalet), Copenhagen, Denmark.
​He later partnered with LiNA Medical, a well recognised medical device company with strong experience in GYN and Laparoscopy, and medical robotics experts such as Prof. R. Savarimuthu, at the University of South Denmark, to develop truly groundbreaking and accessible solutions.
Several iterations later, they had together developed a solution Kjer really wanted to operate with himself, brilliant in its practically oriented simplicity.​
Laptics Surgical is currently preparing for an FDA submission for its first product; The world's first single-use robotic laparoscope.
